whining noise from speaker

Default whining noise from speaker

i recently put 4 infinity reference 652i 6.5" speakers all the way around my car, im running a 4 channel jenson amp. out of the driver side rear speaker, i get a whinning/buzzing noise when the amp is on. the noise gets louder when i press the gas pedal. what cause this noise and how to get rid of it?

could be the jenson amp! Gain up too high? Weak ground? Faulty RCA's or quality? Power wire and RCA's ran together? Lots of possibilities!

The sound you're hearing is alternator whine. Can be caused by a number of things. I would offer to help but after messing with my system a few months back, well more than a few, I somehow fubard something and now have the same thing in my car and I have not been able to get rid of it. It's sad I haven't had music for probably a year.

man everyone gives me flak about it, but when i put new rca cables in, and some noise suppressor from jcwhitney onto my alternator i got clean sound - added some noise suppression on the rca cables and had perfect silence no matter how loud i turned up the amp.
if it's isolated like that, only out one speaker? you should check that one wire for cracks or bad connection, etc.
