Default H23a1 engine trouble

I have a 93 Honda prelude Si that has the a H23a1 but unfortunately its an auto. It currently has 152000 miles on it which is a lot. Ive been running it rough for the past year and now when i sit at a stoplight for awhile or when i first start it up itll smoke a little. I switched to mobile one 10w30 sythetic and it seemed to help it some but it still does it a little. I'm going to college and probably getting a cheap offroad vehicle and im just wondering what would be the most cost effective way to fix it. It also has some black smoke at the top of the rpm band when i floor it. Any suggestions? Self fix? I have some experience w/ cars. Thanks

I checked my pcv valve and where it goes into the engine there is oil in there. I was thinking it might be sucking it up and putting it back into my fuel mix? what would cause that? The gasket seems like it needs to be changed around the valve cover, could that be it?
