Default when im replacing my CV boot,,should i replace my axel??

well thurs my wife comes home from work with the 94 civic
and the inside of the pass. front tire is covered in crap
i thought it was brake fluid

it was on the side of the car a lil,,
also that same night i see a nail in the pass side front tire
1 week old rims and tires ,
(well prob 6 months old,,,but new to me
so i drop the car off,,to get the hole plugged
and see if it was something wrong with the brakes

i call later
and he said he cant plug the hole
cuz its on the edge of the sidewall
and he said its not the brakes
the CV boot has ripped

so now im ordereing 2 new paradas

and monday im getting the CV boot looked at,,and replaced

now should i replace the axel,,,or do i have nothing to worry about if i jsut replace the boot??,,
,there is no clicking when i turn

this just happened,,thurs,,and i havnt drivin it sinceand i will not drive it for the rest of the weekend
until i go drop it off,,1 mile down the street

It would be cheaper and easier to get a new axle for $70.00 total.

You could just replace the boots..
You could get new axles if reasonably priced..
Remanufactured axles don't have the best track record, but I wouldn't hesitate to put them on my car if needed..
I pay $75 per axle wholesale, you may be charged as much as $150 per axle.. If both sides are leaking, it may get costly..
OEM Boot kits ( inner/outer,all 4 joints) cost somewhere around $75..
Keep in mind, this does not involve labor charges, parts only...
Labor charges should be around the $75 dollars per side, this is just a guestimate..

Replace all boots.. $225
Replace Axles... $300+
Your Mileage May Vary...

If the price is right go for the axles also... but if you don't need to then try it with the boots first.. My boots blew out on me and were making the most irratating noise whenever i would make a turn but after almost 4 maybe 5 days of driving my car and finally a boot replacement everything was all good..
