Default How to clean 4th gen JDM headlights

Hey,
I have JDM blk housing headlights on my car but they look a little dingy and just dull and dirty. I was wondering if you guys have had an experience cleaning or polishing these.
How can i get them to shine?

Thanks

are you talking about the cleaning the outside of the lights or the inside black part?

well, if they are the plastic out side ones then you can buy plastic polish and use one of those car buffers and clean them up very nicely.

well one way you can clean the inside is remove the head lights from the vehicle. then remove the metal clips that secure the lens to the housing both top and bottom. then you can just use armor all or some thinge to wipe them out.

yea, definitely don't try and take them apart, when i scratched mine i buffed them and polished them and all that good stuff, they look great, but you're probably gonna have streak like looking marks at night when you turn your headlights on, atleast i do

Are your headlight plastics scratched or scored? If so, use a VERY fine wet sanding paper. Then use something like Meguiars 'ScratchX', then a plastics polish. I've done this on mine and they're perfect now. Got this tip from Volksracing but I've not heard him online for a while.

If some how the insides are dirty, you can take the units apart - I did this to fit angel eyes to my 93 JDM SiVTEC. But BE CAREFUL. If you wanna know how, just pm me.
