Default first time at the track with ep3

Well tonight was my first time at the track with my ep3 and my best of the night was 16.3 it was a cool night but i could not keep the tires from spinning they would light up from1-2 and 2-3 with a light launch this is gonna take some practice with this car the gsr i had down to a science but this car is a whole different amount of power and torque. The low end is amazing but it likes to take those stock tires and tear them apart my 60 foot times were hurting me bad with a 2.7 i could not get grip so i figure with better tires alone will put me low 15s since i have seen many ep3's run 15.5-15.7 stock. oh well =4 life

yea your times definitely can get better. I've ran a best of 15.5 in my car with i/e and hondata, but with the same horrible 60 fts. My friend drove my car to a 15.3 at almost 92mph with the same mods on the same night.

Another friend of mine has ran a 15.7 with just an intake, so you can get there, just keep working on it.

Nice to see another EP3 from mass. See ya around.

if you were at newengland dragway i didn't see you. i brought my ep3 but decided to watch. i ran my ep3 once this summer and it was a really hot and humid night (85plus degrees) and i ran a 15.7 with and ebay special intake. i was launching at 4k and slipping the clutch, hope this helps.

No the infamous lebanon valley speedway someone had mentioned about elevation and some of my friends disregarded this but i thought about it and it is pretty high up. The car is bone stock and i just finished up with the break in 1200 miles.

ep3 is the chassis code for the new Si.

Yea I've been up to lebanon valley, but I don't really like that place as much as New England Dragway. I hate how the "control tower" blocks the view of the entire strip.

I was in the vivid blue pearl 03 si well i think the main reason why i could not get any traction "like everyone else" was becuase it was very damp out and the ground was getting moist.
Everyone there was complaining about traction a guy with a mustang was running high 14's when just the week before he was in the low 14's
