doesnt detonation only happen with nitrous? havent shot any yet. so should i go ahead and shoot with them lookin like this? new to nitrous - dont wana wreck my engine.

can anyone give a quik explaination of how to check/ adjust ignition timing? this is what i need to do right? sorry this is how i learn stuff.

update(cant post more than 5 a day when trail user) shot the 55 shot for a quik run, plugs look the same, actually i only checked the 1st one.. has anyone had problems making a good thread in there intake for the nozzle? i've made 2 holes had to cover the 1st one.. no matter what i do the hole is to loose and seems almost stripped no matter how carefully i make it/tap it and screw it in, my aem intake is so thin it makes it hard... i think i need a larger fitting i can screw the nozzle into in the intake. anyone done this?

how do i not run as hot? also how do i retard my ignition a degree or 2 so i can run higher shot?
when i hit open throttle with the 55jets in i didnt notice a huge difference tourqe<(cant spell) and speed, is that normal? i noticed clear liquid on my nozzle and its a little loose, cause its ****** hard to make good threads in my intake so i got a new fitting today that my nozzle will screw into to make a bigger wider threaded hole, hope it helps...

to retard the timing you probably need an ignition system like an MSD digital 6.

make sure you don't have leaks in your lines. and there are certain variables that affects the power output from the nitrous... like the bottle pressure and the quality of the nitrous.

running hot is okay as long as your not running too lean. but use common sense when using nitrous.
-don't spray for longer than 15 seconds continuously at a time.
-don't spray if your rpms are below 3000.

honda's natuerally run on the lean side when street driven... so IMO that looks very normal

i'm aware of that. but from the angle of the first pic i couldn't tell if it had white "blotches" which would signal detonation or not.

Condensation is normal. Remember you're shooting a liquid gas in there and it's going to get very cold when it boils off. So your nozzle is going to get cold too. Perfectly normal. Your plugs look fine too.
