Camber Kit
Hey everyone, i usually post in the integ forum, but i am not getting any good responses to this question. I just ordered endless's zeal b6s (circuit rate) for a 99 gsr and have been told i do and i don't need a camber kit...
Now, for those that have this coilover, what else have you done? Now, i'm a little confused with what people have been saying...cuz i also read on endless that pillow ball upper mount is for camber adjustability? I'm not sure why i'm getting so many different answers on this one. Please inform me. Thanks.

You dont NEED one. If this is a street car the increased negative camber you will get by lowering it is just fine- but you need to get an alignment to get the toe in spec.
I would assume that if you kept the ride height close to stock that you wouldn't need the camber kit.
But if you lowered it a lot further, than you probably would need a camber kit.
So I guess for the people that bought a track suspension...and then dumped it (morons), would then need a camber kit.
But if you do like a .5 inch in the front and rear I don't think that the camber wear on your tires would be that noticeable.

I am not dumping it, but i am not a fan of the current height...it is a gsr, so it is higher than the type r...remember we are talking about a gsr here.
Also, what about the part of it having upper pillow ball mounts?? I mean, maybe i should just call endless again about this.

This is not applicable for our car (DC2 Integra) with double wishbone suspension.
Adjusting camber thru the shock uppermount is only applicable for cars with strut type suspension like the BMWs, Evolutions, RSX (DC5), etc etc.
So as sackdz said, just get the alignment done to dail your toe setting back within spec after lowering, and you don't have to worry about camber issues (assuming that your car is not SLAMMED to the ground).

Oops...didn't notice this was for a gsr. Yeah I guess it'd be nice to get 3/4 -1 inch lower. Just make sure you rotate the tires often and check camber wear on the insides of the tread. Good Luck

Please clear up what is bein said in that first blurb...is this what wai was sayin? I think so...

Correct, no camber adjustibility. Even if the pillowball mounts were adjustable (for honda application), it would only adjust the angle of the damper, not the wheel.

<-- lowered 3" (not by choice, damn H&R Sport springs
) w/ -2.3 deg. camber and I'm doing good, no camber kit
