What should i do with my suspension?
I am planning to autocross next year and i want to change my suspension. I have got the skunk2 coilovers with stock shocks. I really need shocks or a new setup because i lose traction really easy on bumps. I have a 99 civic ex that is around stock weight and a daily driver. What kind of shocks should i go with or should i get a new setup?

So you havent done any events yet. Leave it stock for 1 year of competition. If you cant do that, then pick up a set of KYB AGX's or Koni's depending on your budget. But put hte stock springs back in.

Because if you actually want to learn how to autocross well, you're best starting with a stock setup with a good set of shocks.

But it's not stock right now. He said he had springs with stock shocks
Stiff springs with stock shocks is one the worst things you can do to your handaling. Your next mode should be new shocks, or put the stock springs back in.
I think RJs point is that it should not really be a big concern for you right now and I agree. Your times will get WAY better from practice. It's really much harder to be fast than what it looks like. Your main focus will be on driving. Car set up will not help your times near as much, if any, as seat time will. Then again if you have exrta cash, and you like working on cars then get new shocks for sure. I would recomend Koni Yellow 1 way Adjustable.
