I posted in they hybrid forum, but no one ever says anything in there unless you post pics of a 500whp built something or other swapped into a hatch...so, I will ask here. Lock it if you want, maybe you can go respond on the hybrid forum.

I was tracing wires today just to make sure everything was lining up, when I noticed the differences between the stock engine and the LS engines harness going to the battery. Here is a pic of the stock

Notice one wire to the battery and one to the fuse box. Now, on the LS harness, it has one to the battery, one to the fuse box, and then another thick white wire coming off the connection for the battery. Where does this one go? Is it just another ground. Everything matches up perfectly other than this.

Goes to the starter i think. I believe that is the wire that gives it power.

 

ummm I ran outside to check my car cuz I got an LS and then im like, whoa, I used a civic harness.

whatever that is, you dont need it. you should only be concerned with the civic harness

It's not for the starter, the thick white is for the ABS...so don't worry about it, unless you have ABS of course.
