Building a car for h3, I think. I forget which class.. its a 95 GSR.

the ABS has never worked on this car, and we want to pull it. I thought I would ask you guys before we had brake fluid every where.

 

You could swap in non-ABS RS-model M/C and lines.

 

or just run your own lines, like I did, all you need is a flair tool, maybe a pipe bender.. wasn't to hard, no leaks yet, and have a prop valve.. Also takes more weight of the nose of the car..

 

i removed the abs out of my 94 civic. frankly, with the brakes that were on the car, the abs proportioning just sucked. the car is soo much faster without it.

 

Ditto, I didn't use the ITR ABS when converting to an EG. We had to make custom brake lines (or you could use the lines from a non-abs model of your car).

The custom lines didn't take long to make -- so it shouldn't cost too much to have someone in the business make them for you.

First couple of times I hard braked in the EG, I locked up the wheels, but after a few days I got used to it and I don't lockup anymore.

I do get people telling me I'm locking up my inside rear during slow turns on track -- something I don't think would be an issue if I had ABS. I haven't seen any unusual wear on the rears because of it tho. - no abs

 

I removed ABS from my 95 GSR. I had to use the RS prop valve, all four RS front brake lines and the RS MC and BB. It took me a total of 2.5hours.
