Motor swap question?
Whats up fellas, I have a couple questions. I have a 93 Civic DX that spun the pulley and beveled the end of the Crankshaft, so I pretty much need another motor. I was wanting to know if anyone knows where I can get a good deal on a motor (40-60K miles). Also how difficult is it to swap out yourself and is there any good links out there that shows a how-to. Thanks, Mojo

If you're farely mechanically incline, any b-series swap is pretty easy if you by the entire swap as a complete package (ie. motor/tranny/ecu/mounts/axels/shift linkages)... Complete B16 w/LSD swap for your car from HMO will run you right around $2800 shipped.

how difficult is it to swap out yourself I can do a complete swap in about 3 hours if all the parts are there, so yes it's easy.. but I've done a few. First timer.. well just do it and enjoy the experience
is there any good links out there that shows a how-to. I'm sure there is, definately buy a book to help along the way </TD></TR></TABLE>
