precision valve adjustment.
Hey guys, on advice from a more acurate ear than mine, I'm going to be adjusting my valves tommorow. Anyway questions are as follows:
Vavle clearances on each side? If I remember right it's .008 - .007 exhuast .004 - .005 intake?
Torque rating on the rerainer bolts? (I've done it before I just can't remember.)
thanks guys! You make not haveing a manual alot more bearable.

IThink the exhaust was .008-.007, and the intake was like .006-.005... man I forget now :-/ A trick I did to help easy the tightening of the nuts is have a 1/2" drive 10 MM socket, such as an impact socket, and the biggest allen key you can get that will fit in the hole in the socket where the ball on the ratchet holds it on. This way you can adjust the screw and measure the gap, and then hold the flathead still while you turn the 10MM tight with the allen key. worked well for me.

wich engine do you have?
By the low number I am assuming h23 but
.003-.004 on intake and .006-.007 on exhaust for h23
.009-.011on intake and .011-.013 on exhaust for h22
All these #'s are in inches by the way. GOOD LUCK
