i just recently painted my car and i took off my inner tail lights and the top brakelight (wing). Since then the brake lights do not light up when i push the brake. everything else works correctly. i checked the tail light fuse and it's good.

anyone know what else could be the problem?

 

Check your exhaust fuse... its weird I know.
