F-series motors can take a beating. That's for sure. There is member of HS running 17psi, and a 75 shot on stock internals on his F22B2. Has yet to blow, or have any problems.
Is that all your gonna spray? That's a baby's shot!
Seriously though, 55 shot on the F22 is very safe. The F will take that, like it, and ask for more!

F motor with nitrous, at least a reasonable amount of nitrous...no problems, never heard of anyone blowing their motor with a reasonable size nitrous shot on an f22 (up to 80hp). Except one guy who just sprayed the entire bottle while running from police officers (ya, true story, really funny too, he knew better, but he was desperate)

the guy that said he had a friend running a stock f22 with 17psi and a 70 shot of nos, I would like to call a bullshit on that one. Maybe, and I mean Maybe for a couple of runs on a Hondata system or maybe aem ems, but no way he will run that for more than a couple of runs. **** my car didn't even handle 10 psi for one day (f22)., And the reason was because I had used nitrous on my car before, zex 55 shot, 3 bottles in 2 years, thats how many times I raced. And as soon as I boosted 10 psi, my rings were completly gone by the end of the day. Bullshit your friend is running 17psi on stock internals. hahaha. liar.

you guys made me a little less nervous...
seriously tho, i did a carfax and my car came up with odometer incunsistancy, i think it said it had a reported 157k on it in 2000, i bought it with the odometer saying 104k like 2 months ago... dont matter i already installed the **** and its getting juiced tomarrow when i got $40 to fill the tank. is there anything i should do to my engine before i shoot it through?
I thought they did, but I just realized that you have to buy them separately. http://www.zex.com/store/merch...e=HSP
do not use platinum plugs. don't spray off the line or anywhere under 3k rpm's
check you're timing. recommend 1 to 2 degrees retard. don't hit the rev limiter.
do one or the other and spend 2 months diagnosing like me.
2 years f22b2 75 shot. no problems till i did a few of the above.
also ckeck no2 pressure. make sure car runs well.
besides that don't worry and have fun

follow some of the guidelines people establish here and you should have no problem with the funny fog on your ride.
check your timing and run a heat range cooler copper core plugs.
I had a the bottle on my f22 for a while.

almost 2 years, ~80 shot, f22b2---No problems.BTW, I spray at around 2250 rpm, no problems yet.
Of course, my MSD helps there a lot.

damn thats pretty low to start the funny fog... never had a problem? I used to spray at about 3k up.
I learned never to spray under a major gear load. I seriously blew a mustang's intake and intake manifold to pieces (very small ones) and it is only a 125 shot.
needless to say I was getting my first taste of n20 and I was misinformed beginner to top it off... so I hit wot with the kit on at like 2200 in 3rd gear... loaded up too hard and puddled/ coughed it right back out the intake which I am luckily did not do more damage (wet kit). motor survived it but I needed some top end work.

ive been spraying a 75 wet shot for about a year.
a tranny cooler if its an automatic.
anyone ever ran a shot higher than 80 on an internally stock f22? its tempting to do when im at the track but im too skurrrred. i think i read a while back that gimpy accord ran 100shot a few times on his f22.

major slippage of the clutch. more like put you out of you're misery clutch.
auto tranny's are finicky but the 5 speeds are quite strong.
the clutch is fantastic for stock. factory clutch will slip at 75shot. again check you're plugs before and after you're first pass. if does not pass don't risk it. and please note; no2 will frack up you're car in a split second if the car is not ready.
but... if you're car is proper... well it's beautiful.
i went to indiana with a brand spanking new bottle and 3 ours later empty
that's about 13 passes, most right in a row. drove 1.4 hours back home alongside the 69 427 mustang. perma grin
fun, fun times.
i highly recommend the funny fog

no cliff notes yet but it would be really nice to have someone post an instructional thread on safely using no2. (hint, hint)

Yeah, my clutch slipped, and kept slipping with just a ZEX 55 dry shot.
But my clutch and flywheel should be on soon...
