can you put a type r rear upper trunkbrace in a civic??? not the upper strut bar but trunk bar that connects between the tail lights on the chassiss

Yes. Just drill holes, get some nuts, bolts and large washers and your set.

 

I'm pretty sure you can modify slightly. Just drill the holes screw it in make sure to measure before cutting the panel trim.

 

NO! You can't do it. Even with a nut and bolt the metal in that area is not reinforced like it is in the ITR

The bar won't be effective if you drill new holes. What I found interesting is that you "might" be able to put the bar on a 96-'00 Civic hatch. Place the bar where the bolts for the rear-bumper is. It should theoretically fit... never tried it.

 

I think Bennen (or Bennin?) makes a "strong bar" for GSR's and cretain Civics that bolts in between the taillights. I think Diablo Autosports (who have banner adds on this sight) carries Bennen.

It's Benen Industries, I used to hang out with Benen when we were in high school.

 

It will bolt into any Integra, w/ no mods (well you have to cut the little plastic cut outs out, but they are marked for you)
