Installing GSR strut bar on ek?
Ok, so I know I have to drill the holes, where the two idententions are, right above the struts. However, does it matter which way I put in the bolts? Also what size bolts and washers should I use and what should I torque them too?

you should use whatever size bolts fit through the holes on the bar. grade 8, or better. i just went to lowes/home depot, bought 4 allen head bolts, like 1-1.5 long. flat, and lock washers, nuts.

i dont remember exactly, but i dont think that i used those indentions for the holes. take the bar and prefit it, checking out whether the holes line up. when i installed mine, i installed them with the end of the bolt pointing up.

I gave Comptech a call and ordered just the mounting hardware for their "Titanium Series Front Strut Bar". It made the installation of my GSR upper strut bar a toatal breeze!

You can see the mounting hardware pictured right below the strut bar for reference in the event you want to fab something up yourself. I went ahead and paid their asking price which was quite expensive for some bolts and nuts -/+ $25 . But I do have piece of mind that the load is distributed evenly because of the mounting plate that is welded between the bolts

When you hear cracking, it's too tight.

Re: (pumatec8)
the indentations DONT line up. hold up the bar where you want it, mark it.
drill hole lil bigger then bolt.
uese a washer on both sides
Bolts from Top Down
lock washer under the bottom washer.
Tighen it tight, then tighten later after a few driving hours.
