Differential fluid change
hey people... i got a quick question. I got a auto... is it necessary to change the differential fluid and what fluid do you use anyways? Also, the nut to my fuel filter is pretty stripped out... I was wondering if there is any way to just replace the head on the fuel line? Thanks for all the help.
First question, in an automatic you just change the ATF fluid. The diffrential uses the same fluid for lubrication.
Second, you best is to just replace the nut if its the top nut thats stripped. Or if its the bottom nut to replace the fuel line from the filter to the gas tank. IIRC its like $50 from the dealer. Or you can cut the line using tubing cutters, get a new flare nut, and reflare the end. Thats if you have enough room.
