Default stupid question, but pleassssse help

all right here's the story, my b16 has a major oil problem like 3qts every two weeks, it went away when i set a fault for tps sensor, i got that fixed, and I started enjoying vtec again, and now its back. I havent done a leak done test or compression test yet, but do yall think that would be a head problem like vavle guides or something?

EH, Dude, if you have a fault from TPS, then the car DISABLES VTEC.
If you have no oil leak without Vtec, then your valve guides are probably fine. How about something upstairs in the oil solenoid that activates Vtec?

Where is your oil going? Can you see puddles of oil? If so, look striaght up from there.

What kind of setup are you running? LS/Vtec?

Have someone do a leakdown test, if still no progress probably a headgasket, if you have the gasket changed you can examine the old one for faults and also have the back of the valves checked while the head is off (through the port or by lifting the valve) look for excessive deposits on the back, if so, leaky guides or worn seals. and if you still dont know and your still not leaking i dont know.

OK, I have a few more questions.

Did you just recently start the oil leaking problem? Waht other major event took place around the time of the oil leak? Any overhaul, or rebuild?
Still seems odd to me, that when Vtec is limped out, then you have no oil leak. It might be the oil regulator in the deck of the block. Is it there? Without this thing, the head gets flooded with oil. I don't know what will happen if this were taking place when Vtec engages.

Isolate the problem and follow up with the preceeding events. Try to look at what happens internally when vtec engages, and see if you can figure out why you have the oil leak when you have the vtec.

Just trying to help,
Scott
