I am having a problem taking out the rear speakers and front speakers on my 97 CL. I don't know if I should pop off the grills on the speakers or access the proper screws for them. Anyone know how to do it? Don't want to scratch the interiour all up if I don't have to.
And is there any kit that is made to replace the bottom consol pocket with something else, like a EQ or something like that?
TIA

i did mine along time ago... back speakers i cant really rememper but i think the screan has some clips holding it down. then you remove the speaker from the top. im not too sure of this i would go look but my CL is at the boddy shop sorry.
front speaker you have to take off the door panals or drill a hole to access the last screw

you can get a honda eq to fit in the bottom pocket. but it uses the same plug as the cd changer. so, if you have a cd changer or other accessorie hooked up, then it won't be functional. i however put one in just to fill up space. i like radio buttons!!
you have to take off the door panel to get to the front speakers...you have to take off the rear dash...take out the rear seatback then take out the brake light then lift the back dash up & out...then unscrew the the speakers

for the fronts you need to take off the door panels completely; for the rear, there should be four screws that hold the grills/covers from underneath accessed from the trunk and then you can get the speakers from the top
