Default Damn it!! What's the deal!!!

Someone tell me, because I can't hold on to this unused portion of my paycheck for long!!! I want to get some stability in my rear suspension by ordering a new sway bar (19mm by neuspeed), but now I'm hearing about "subframe tear-out horror stories"!! Do I need s sway bar-lower tie bar combo that is integrated (like ST or comptech) or can I just get the sway bar and tie bar from neuspeed and use them together without "subframe tear-out" worries???? Man, someone e-mail me a Helms manuel, please.

The only sway bar I have hear of with sub-frame tear out is like the 22mm ones. Those are a very stout bar. I personally would get a set of good shocks with some C/O's then mabey like an 18mm bar, that sucker will be stiff as all hell.

you dont need to worry about the Neuspeed sway tearing out... Check into the Progress bar too, that one of the nicest I know of.

Alright, 92SiR I shouldn't have shot my mouth off so quick. I think I had just finished my fifth cup of coffee. But seriously, I appreciate your posts, and all your advice. Anybody with a SOHC is a friend of mine. Peace.

NYb16, off course I'm not hatin' on yuh, man. We're all brothers here man! il8Apex, what can I say? Everybody seems to have had different experiences with different setups. I've heard lots of stories about subframe tear-out myself, and frankly I would rather be safe than sorry. Look into some subframe reinforcement since this seems to be the way to go when using a sway bar larger than 19mm. If I were in your shoes, I'd contact progress tell them about your setup, and ask them their opinion to play it safe. Prevention is the key, so use caution!

The progress bar to my knowledge doesnt use the factory mounting locations like the Skunk bar does... My friend has one on his civic and he is very happy with it and has been for a year now.
