H22 short block weight
well i just bought a COMPLETELY stripped bare block, and it weighed about 75 pounts, so i know thats not what you were looking for but its a starting point.
The "BARE" aluminum block weighed 75 lbs?! I find that hard to beleave? Maybe iron block.... I mean i picked up a whole D16 block that was full of pistons and crank, flywheel... and that could not weigh more than 60-80lbs?
The block its self is JUST aluminum?

i shipped off an h22 short block a while ago, and i can guarentee you it weighed more than 75 pounds. fully assembled short block, give or take some things weighed over 100 to be safe.
