need help with my ecu/swap
yes i would like to thank you guys for any help ahead of time....i have a 93 cx hatch and i dropped a jdm b16a motor in it and i sent my p28 to get chipped i went with the mugen program.....i just recieved my ecu and installed it the car runs fine but when i throw the ac on and im coming to like a light or a stop sign when i let the clutch in the car goes down to idle but turns right off and sometimes itll turn back on and sometimes it doesnt i put back my stock P28 ecu and the car runs fine with it even tho i notice it does wanna die out when it goes to idle even on the p28 do you guys think i need to get my idle adjusted or what...... thanx again for any help
Doesn't sound like the ecu is the problem.
What is your current idle speed at normal running temp w/o a/c on?
Have you replaced the plugs, wires, rotor, and cap like you are supposed to when getting a swap?

yeah, you want to make sure all the things he mentioned are "refreshed" also, if you're running the Mugen program, your car will be running very rich...rich at idle compared to your stock ecu. this would cause your car to stall out/die at low rpm's or idle. do you have a FPR and/or Vtec controller? a basic tuning session will do wonders for your car...good luck

yes i have changed the plugs, cap , and rotor and even threw in a new clutch and broke it in i know clutch has nothing to do with it but i think my car is idling at around 7500 rpm without the ac on and when i turn it on it goess really low car even wants to stall out when im stopped.....do you really think tuning will make a difference?
