ok, so far we found a place, only have 15's.. i need 16 by 7.. where can i find em?
No offence, but TE-37s are not the most attractive wheel on the market. I'm not criticizing your taste, but more than likely the appeal of their design is because everyone knows what TE-37s are, how light they are, and how expensive they are. People buy TE-37s because they are light weight and strong, not because they look styley. Buying fake TE-37s is like putting a Type R badge on your Integra LS. While it might fool the idiots, anyone who has a clue about cars will know that your car is a 'wanna be' , and even you yourself will not feel as good about the wheels as you would if they were real. Sorry for the flame, but faking is rice.
I disagree. Beauty is most certainly in the eye of the beholder.
Some people think Hyundai Tiburon's look good. I think they look like ***. It's just my opinion, and it doesn't mean anything.
I think the RSX looks horrid, but my wife loves it, therefore, we shall soon have another Acura.
Before I was into the sport compact scene... I knew a guy with a Type R. He had Volk TE37's (this was in sept. '99) and I absolutely loved them. I had no idea how good they were. I just knew I liked the way they looked.
I think on a white car, white TE 37's look very nice.
Just my opinion though.

faking is rice
that is a fucted up statement. if you can justify spending the god awful amount for wheels then go ahead if I can getting something similar maybe just a little heavier for much less, **** I am gonna do it. Call me a wannabe or whatever but it's not like I go around saying I have this when I don't. I rather take my money and put it into something else. But then again to each his own. Besides it's less money out of my wallet when the **** gets stolen
Now lets think...
...why do **** brands copy TE-37s? Because they f*cken own you. TE-37s have a legendary reputation as being "bad *** mother f*cker" wheels...
I'm guessing you are those people that purchase fake Nike stuff and wear that to look cool too, when any idiot can tell its fake... Like I said... faking it, is rice.

If you look closely, you'll see its an attempted Honda emblem on the armband rather than a swastika. I used Hitler as my avatar, as I am as fanatical about Hondas as he was about... er.. yeah... Jeez... I've used this avatar for months and no-one's given me any crap about it until some idiots decide to fly a few planes into some buildings in the U.S.... I'm no ****, militant, racist etc... I'm just a 100% Honda 'chump' if thats what you choose to call it.
Once again... faking, is rice
So I suppose putting a Type R sticker on your car because you think it looks pretty would not be considered rice, even though you are essentially fraudulently advertising your car is something that it isn't? Think about it before you start going ape.

u obviously dont have a very good concept on money..
and did i say i was putting a typeR sticker on my car? **** no...
tell me this do u think a typeR is even a ****** sports car? **** you, u dont know the first thing about racing, the typeR is a massaged economy car, its in no way a race car.. people who think it is are stupid.. people who think that a typeR sticker means fast are stupid, people who put typeR stickers on something they are not are stupid.. people who believe the typeR logo represents racing is almost as dumb as the person who fakes and puts the logo on their car.. both of you are dumb, and both of you have fallin for hondas markieting scheme that typeR is a signal for racing..
Reasons why you are lame:
1. lol... Integra SE...
Over here, the island folk like to use them as taxis. Thats a mean as dragging machine you're building up.
2. You're probably just bitter because you actually have a Type R sticker...
coolies.
3. That little post on the Cosmetic section about my car was real mature too... You must be like, 16 and cruising round in your bad *** rice ride with your learner's license. Dang you're cool.
4. You hate Integra Type R, a car regularly used in circuit racing in Japan, and one of the 3 cars Spoon bother to modify, because they so regularly rape you on the way home from Prep School.
5. You are cool.

it's the design that matters...not the fact that it is a fake wheels.....
so since BBS RX is the same design as the Volk SE-37, is that mean that the SE37 is a BBS lookies, I think not....
the TE-37 Design is very popular among the wheel manufacturer, true the Volk's are very light, but I can assure you that the other brands of wheel mfg that I am aware of, they made a hell of a strong wheels out of this TE-37 design.
The TE-37 model was designed for its strength, look at the way the wheels shaped and design, it was made for strength...Volk went one step further and made it lighter..obviously bringing the cost up as well....
I for one hand, was not too picky about the weight, it was not a big factor for me personally.....
again, peoples opinions are different, try not to judge them by what the like over a certain products over the others....
Respect other's opinions.......it's all a matter of taste, some just better than others...
Ok well, I am not sure if you guys are still arguing or not, and being stupid, but we all like cars, and that is pretty cool, so lets just all get along. Let's help the poor guy out. Anyways, I am not sure how good they are, but I am about to pick up some motegi MR8's in a 16x7 and they weigh 16.5 lbs. Not that bad for only 125.00 a wheel, and I am sure you can find them cheaper than that.
ha ha ha ha......whats the deal with this whole rice thing??? are there rules to it.....thats the gayest thing i've ever heard
Haha, first of all, you guys are getting way out of hand. Also, to whomever said Type-R's aren't race cars?? Hmm....they can't hang with an RX-7?? I have a video of lets see....a Porsche, R32 (skyline), Supra, RX-7, NSX, and....oh my gosh what is that, it's a Type-R! That would be a Type-R Integra just in case you weren't aware
Anyways, you'll probably be mad, but the Type-R is built for strict racing if you were comparing it to most cars. A $24,000 car with no A/C (In the older R's), what's that? Don't be mad that you don't have one, or they beat you, but go to an Auto-X event where they have Type-R's racing and see how well it does.
Anyways, you guys are funny......

im sorry if i made it sound like i hate typeR's cause i dont, i think it is a great car but i think it is overrated by alot of people... Alot of people think the typeR is like the ultimate sports car, its a great car for what it is but i remember an issue in SCC where they compared the typeR to the GT mustang, there is obvious bias towards the typeR in that magazine but if u look at the stats, the GT ran faster in the 1/4 and on the road course.. a typeR is great for weekend autoX events but it really lacks the ***** to compete on a real road course.. btw i REALLY REALLY want to see that video..
I would post the video if I knew how and the fact that I have a 28K connection doesn't help that either. It is a best motoring video though. The Porsche is the leader after the 1st lap w/ the Type-R in 2nd with the RX-7 right behind. If you want to compare a Type-R and a Mustang GT.....hmm....
When you purchase an American Muscle-Car your paying for the motor and only the motor. Displacement and that's about it. Sure they have 4,912lbs/ft of torque (I don't think that's the right way to put it), but the build/quality is just crappy. For example, my neighbor has a Pontiac? WS-6. Or something like that. It runs the quarter in 14.0 and is quick as hell. But in my opinion, the car is ugly as hell and it was about 30-35K. It's a 2000 and how much do you think it's worth now? If your lucky $20,000, possibly. The interior is hideous as well, blah blah blah we all know the stereotypes, and yes I am biased. Anyways.....just getting defensive....my point is basically I love Type-R's, they are built for racing, not an economy car, bottom-line!

98 GS-R....I have to agree with you...Ever since the Type R debut in the US in '97, I wanted one so bad, but I was a poor college student. Now, I own a 2001 Type R and I love it. I did look at other cars, but nothing could touch the Type R...The domestic cars are fast ONLY in a straight line, but they are totally unreliable, gas-guzzlers, and look ugly...RX-7 are unreliable with their rotaries...Porsche costs too much....Don't trust getting a used Supra turbo...So my only option came down to the beautiful and superior handling of the R....
By the way, check out http://www.machiii.net to find your Rota's...

Here's what I think, just IMO.
-TE-37's are good looking wheels... the appeal is in that they look functional. A lot of people want the 'functional' look for their car... ie no unecessary stuff on it, so it looks more purpose-built.
-Rotas are nice light wheels at a very good price. I myself want their Mugen copies. Now if I could afford real Mugens, I would get them. But I can't afford them, so I'm going to get the Rotas. No because I want people to think "Wow that guy has Mugens", but because I want good looking, lightweight wheels at a very good price.
-So What's wrong with buying wheels that look just as good & are almost as light for about 1/5 of the cost? Should everyone who can't afford real Volks or Mugens just give up entirely and buy some heavy-*** Konigs, or something worse? Besides, so many wheels are copies of other wheels now... i.e Motegi MR-8's are a copy of Konig Tantrums, yes? Ture, but the Tantrums themselves are a copy of a 5Zigens wheel. The only real reason to pay the extra $$$$ for the real thing is to save weight... unfortunately not many people can afford super-nice wheels.
