over heated and now no compresion
I am picking up a 91 4 door this week from my friend that has been over heated and now I was told has no compression. I am thinking head gasket and warped head at the very least. any chance the cylinders or the valves would be screwed up? Thanks for any info.

If the major parts of the motor are screwed, odds are the smaller parts are as well. I believe you are right on with the head warped and head gasket. Depending on the motor you could find some really cheap replacement parts for it anyways, so either way you should be gettin a good deal. Engine swap, seems like a good time to do it.

yeah Im paying $400 for the car and its an LX with a sun roof, power windows, locks and AC..its a decent car. A motor swap is pretty much out of the question...at least anything like a b16, because this is going to be my daily driver while I fix my other car that I blew the motor in the other day. Hopefully just the head gasket is the problem.
Thanks....anyone else have any input?

yeah its a d15. Ill hit you up if I need any parts. It needs a full headliner for sure..it just has the yellow foam hanging there.
OK so I did my own compresion today. Had like 10,10,70,120. Started from the left side of the motor when looking down at it. Bad compresion from a head gasket? Also there is a ton of water/oil aroud the piston sleeves. how do I get that out?
