where to get some?? im running GSR's with 205-50-15 ES100's and with 254 torque out of my LS, the tires aint cutting it. im considring gettinig some 555R's to remeedy my * smokinig 2nd gear* problem.. if i shihft hard ill burn all of 2nd. iif i shift nice.. ill have traction, then burn it at 5K. I know the BF-G's are the shitt but i dont wanna swap wheels off and on every week etcc even though its not my daily drivere i stll drive it a lot. rigt now im running Skunk 2's wit ITR shocks/.struts. LCA/s and front n rear uppr strut bars *( like they raelly do anythiing)

I have the 205-50-15 Nitto 555r's also and making around the same amount torque you are....I boil them in second still, even with a Quaife. My suspension is not up to par as yours but I still boil them and sometimes spin em at 90mph. I plan to go with a wider tire.

If you have an electric boost controller such as the Profec B, just run the lowest boost possible (traction permitting) in 2nd gear and then flick it to high boost in 3rd.

 

yeah but i got a T3 super 60, in 2nd i smoke em,. in 3rd i chirp it hard, but other than that its not bad in the traction department, i havent tried launching the car yet however.

Get tires first, i dont care how good your suspension/traction bar setup is if you on shitty tires it still is NOT going to hook.

 

well .. they arent shitty tires .. just not meant for so much power .. but then ... civics weernt meant for so much power .. hehehehe
