Default J's Intake Question

Might be a repost, BUT.....

Anyone build a cold air BOX around the J's? not just a pipe, but an actual enclosure?

Some people have done this.

Bob-dc2 or something like that made one and posted plenty of pics of it.

I used aluminum and painted it black for hte heatshield. For the duct on the bumper, I used a piece of ABS plastic and PVC pipe. As for the duct inside the car, that is a JL Audio Flexport for subwoofers. Yes it is a 3" flexible port for subwoofer boxes and it fits perfectly

Yea, I know but I'm sure if I had abs in my car, I could still probably fab something.
