awd integra
the october issue of honda tuning they are doing an all wheel drive conversion on a 94 integ. they are putting a crv tranny and drivetrain into it, with modification of course, it does seem like a lot of work
its in the new honda tuning magazine. theres tons of welding and cutting.
something i don't is worth it. but in the next issue if they actually put some power in it. I want to see 500hp and i want to see 10's on street tires.

technically you can take the whole drive train out of a CRV with transmission and slam it into an integra, but iot would take a TON of money, custom fabrication, and modifications to the drive train. you would also be stuck with honda's real time awd system, not exactly for performance, as far as i understand, it only engages the rear wheels when the front are slipping...
somebody did the awd crv conversion in a crx, but it didnt take well to the exhausting mod.

That would never be worth it. It would much, much easier just to buy a wrx. But anything is possible. How do you think an awd teg would handle?

i really dont think it would be worth it. like everyone said.. it could cost a huge amount of money. not to mention your times are likly to drop since yoiu would look a good amount of hp in the new drivetrain, not to mention a nonpreformance drivetrain like the crv. as much as ff na cars dream about being awd fi, the tegs handling competes with the best so i saw dont mess with a good thing

EXACTLY!... honda did make an AWD integra... the pike's peak JRSC integra type R is getting beat by the STi and EVO so the team is looking for the Xi-AWD to do the conversion... mann only if they sold those in the states

The AWD integras are mated to a D series motor in Japan, so good luck adding a B series motor to that driveline.
The CRV is your best bet for doing the conversion, which would be a really cool conversion to see

That Real Time AWD only came with a 1.6 soch motor...zc motor i think. I read somewhere that the AWD system couldn't handle any kind of major power..thus accounting for the 1.6.
