Default 4 channel amp 1 channel acting up

ON my eclipse 4350 4X90 @ 2 ohms RMS the rear right channel has alot of static when the CD is in between songs and when the h/u is playing no music. I checked all of the RCA's and switched out the speakers to make sure it was not a speaker problem.

This is where it gets interesting. When I turn the gain up past 1/2 the static then stops, but there is no signal going to that speaker. The gain is for the entire rear channel so the right speaker is still getting music. but the left speaker gets nothing.

Any Ideas?

no I just got it used, and I guess that I hadn't turned up the gain that high to see it phase out. what should I do, could I get a small one channel amp and run that speaker from it?
