isnt' the JRSC for the B18B1 smaller than the C1 counterpart? if so, why would you want to to that, and pay so much money for minimal gains? if you're doing it just to be different, go ahead, but if you want the best price/performance option, i think turbp is still the way to go with the LS just my .02

well also my car is under warrenty still and the dealership SPECIFICALLY said i coudl supercharge it and not void the warrenty..but if i went turbo then the warrenty would be void...so it was either do this or stay slow...also the jrsc isnt a minimum hp gain. i recently found a dyno result with an LS wit I/H/E and the jrsc and had 230whp..i dont think thats to bad of a way to start out...

Supercharged could be fun, but realistically expect around 160ish whp.

Even most of the top LS JRSC people with upgrades and higher boost are only pushing 180whp-190whp.

Good luck with your decision.

The JRSC for the b1 sucks *****. Dont even waste your money. Definatly go turbo, this is coming from a person that has owned a blown b1.

I doubt the JRSC LS ONLY had I/H/E, I've got the base 6psi JRSC on a b18C and I'm putting out 210whp. The only reason I'd get a JRSC for a LS is if someone was selling the JRSC kit pretty cheap. I'd never pay for a NEW JRSC kit for the B18B, I didn't pay for a new one for my B18C. There should be a lot of used kits floating around... look around if thats what you really want. I'd honestly for turbo if I was gonna FI a B18B.
