track whores: what engine are you running?
I want to do some autocross, but ultimately I want to run my CRX on the track. NHIS to be specific. so I need to think about engine weight and whatnot. for those of you who regularly negotiate road courses, which engines are you using?
I've been doing a LOT of reading up on this. so far I'm leaning towards a ZC or mini-me/full ZC swap. B18A is a close second, but even then I worry about weight. this thing is already a litlte front heavy. although the torque would be nice. so anyways, sing me a little song and let me know what engine you have and any tips for an aspiring track *****.

that's been one of my contenders. I guess it seemed to me like doing a mini-me or ZC swap seemed like all positives. no real weight gains and more power. but that's just how it seemed to me. certainly I'm asking cause above and beyond I really don't know. I'm definitely happy with my car as it is. 1320 times mean nothing to me. I just want to be able to pull out of hte corners nice n quick.

Well, I can think of one negative...it's not legal for most classes the average Joe can afford.

That's a good reason :D . "can't afford" is a phrase I'm very familiar with
. I'm not thinking of competing so much as "playing" just yet. but I suppose I should keep that in mind.
