Were do NY ITR's race (Auto X/ Road Racing) ???

After a long discussion with my DSM freind , and how he "smoke any candy *** ITR on a road course"

I want to know were NY Area ITR's race at ......he says there are absolutely no tracks in NY .....so all the ITR owners over there are "street racers" ....

I know this cant be totally true ......

EMRA will hold its annual time trial at Watkins Glen in late October (19th). At this event, for 110$ you can get 3 20 min sessions on the long course and then a 2 lap shootout for time.
I went last year and had a blast. I believe novices are welcome too!

yep...we'll have ITRs in the Novice, Intermediates and Advance group in LRP Nov 10th. Tell him to be there, so he can teach us a lesson on road course.

Sweet ...i'll let him know .....

but watch out ...he has extensive suspension mods ....

aftermarket sway bar ....stock shocks ...and stock brakes .....lets not even talk about the open differential @ 17 psi .....

Ok , he is very interested in going out there to race on November 10th .....

What will he need to particapate ? Fees ? Safety Requirments ? Etc ??

as for his mods...I can roll high-end sport cars with close to stock setup, yet, I also got rolled by family cars driven by instructors...you get my point? But hey, his aftermarket swaybar from Pepboy might do wonders

No he is not a pro ....in fact he is nothing more than avid street racer , yet is set in his mind that he will own any ITR on a road course .....

I am just a novice when it comes to road racing .... limited seat time .....he has had none .....

believe me ...i would go up there and race him myself on a track if i could ....

Most R-Speed member just came back from Watkins Glen (New York state).....and some of us will go to Lime Rock (CT) at Nov. If he want to "roll" a R.....be my guest
