dyno results from nopi
my h23 put down 149 whp on the mustang dyno they had there.
anyone know the conversion to estimate the dynojet number? from what i've seen most people are saying to add around 18% to figure the dynojet number. so would ~175 whp sound about right? i made 153.4 whp on a dynojet last year before i added the UR crank pulley, removed the a/c, and removed the balancer shaft belt.

intake, header, straight pipe, exhaust, ur crank pulley, no a/c, cam gears(set to 0,0), flywheel, and my timing is at 13 degrees, still trying to get it up to 15 but i can't advance the distributor any further.
mustang dyno's are sooo much better IMO. Your dyno runs are way more repeatable (less error) on them. There are a few things that can effect the numbers though. What gear were you in for the runs? Did the operator ask you how much your car weighted, and what did you tell him it was?
I use a mustang dyno also on my 5th gen for tuning. I got 141 max stock, and 168hp after the mods. (see the post below for more info on mods) So your 149 after mods is more than what I had stock.

huh? stock timing is 15 degrees, good numbers for an h23

that mustang dyno at nopi was mickey moused up. they were not using a rpm signal so the #'s were relatively high. do not use this as a baseline for the future or you will confuse yourself
