Default IDRC Pro am All motor

I looked at the IDRC webpage, the rules seem very vague on this class.
Actually I couldnt find any rules at all. What i got was.
1.You must have full glass.
2. You have to run gas.
3. You can have up to 2.8 liter engine.
4.No fuel cells.
5. No one piece fron ends.
I didnt see any weight minimums, this leads me to believe that this will be dominated by aircooled VW's. Does any one else see it this way?

we started the PRO-AM FWD and PRO-AM RWD/AWD at the beginning of this year. The rules you see on the website is for the PRO-AM FWD(power adders) class. We just took those rules and applied it to the PRO-AM All Motor class for the remainder of the year. PRO-AM All Motor started about 1 event ago. We do not have any weight breaks for these classes yet because they are still in development stages. We just threw these classes together and wanted to see how they would do. Next year there will be weight breaks, until then..the weights are open.

Hondas and VW's racing against eachother is fun. Dont worry too much about the VW's. We only have 3 more events and i dont think they will be coming out to race in the PRO AM class. We will have weights for everyone by next year. If there are anymore questions you can e mail me -

Im ready... bring on the competition. dont be scared of some vw's.. Just go out there and do your best, complaining about other cars wont make you any faster... I think it might be too hard to put weight breaks on cars because as far as street cars go.. there all different weights.. its not your fault if your is a little lighter.. its not someone elses fault if there cars weighs a little more.. bigger car better wheelbase, and more traction. smaller car bad wheelbase and less traction... it can go either way.. just step it up.. plain and simple..
