A hood popper? Wouldn't it just pop your hood every time you disarmed the alarm? or if you hooked it up to the boot popper you could do that but you wouldn't be able to have the boot popper as well unless your alarm had two separate trunk/hood release relays

well the alarm has a second output you can use for anything, if you had an electronic trunk you can hook it up easily. but if you want it on the hood, you'll have to add an actuator to pop pull the lever, and the actuator can be hooked up to output 2

If the alarm has a second output you can uses a boot popping solenoid and attatch it to the hood release cable, you would have to hide it up in the bumper somewhere

You will need 1 relay
You need to hook the relay so it supplies power to the solenoid when it receives the signal from the alarm

actually....3 relays are needed ( if you dont want to add a channel expander
onto your system )as well as a selonoid for the 300 system.
The way it works.....press button 2 under these conditions:
alarm armed....hatch can be unlatched.
alarm disarmed...hood can be unlatch.

makes sense? Now this is if you are already using
the channel to work as a hatch release..if not follow the instructions
xsi gave.
