Goodridge brake hose kit for 5th gen Prelude?!?
I want to buy a Goodridge brake hose kit for my 5th gen Prelude but according to Goodridge of Germany it is only available for 3rd and 4th gen Preludes. The weird thing is that a lot of shops in the US are selling this kit for 5th gen Preludes (base and SH) and I "know" a lot of 5th gen owners in the US who use it, too. How is that possible? Is the kit for the 5th gen the same as the one for the 4th gen Prelude?
Thanx for your help!

The kits are very similar. Contact either Ultra Performance (www.ultraperformance.com), Summit Racing or Paragon Performance. I'm sure you can use kits from either Goodridge or Russell Performance on a 5th gen. I have the kit for my Base and it went on just fine. You also can check at http://www.goodridge.net for info including links to Euro suppliers.
Like I said I have already contacted Goodridge of Germany and they told me it is not available for 5th gen Preludes. Neither in germany nor in the US!!!
IMO this kit should be the right one for me: http://www.brakehoseshop.com/frameset.html Part number is SHD0702-4P-T ("T" for "TUV")
Does "Prelude S/ Si/ VTEC 1992>" include the 5th gen Prelude??

Are you going to be participating is track events i.e. road racing, if you are they are a must have. I just installed the lines on my car and participated in Solo Trials yesterday and got 1st out of field of about 10 STS car. The brake lines and new pads were instrumental in my success.
There are not many public tracks over here so it will be mostly for street "racing". Another reason why I want them is because there are a lot of these cat-like animals (donīt know how they are called in english!? marder?? marten??) which love to eat cables in cars around here.
I got my goodridge lines from http://www.tirerack.com
International shipping will probably be expensive, but if you want them badly enough, it's an option. YOu could also try demon tweeks in the UK, as shipping might not be as much as it would be from the US. Good luck.
