Default need info about the AEM cold air.

What do you guys think about the AEM cold air? Is that a pretty good intake they claim "Horsepower gains can be seen by as much as 15 HP's!" and Dyno-tuned to create more horsepower than every intake system on the market. is this true?

at modacar.com there asking 169.00 for it heres the rest of the info http://www.modacar.com/product...DAAII/

not even close to 15whp but its a great mod. you may also want to look at the type s intake, its supposed to have all the positives of aem without loosing the bottom end power, but Ive never tried it.

yeah, it won't add 15 hp. the thing about the type-s intake is that it will add better bottom end but no top end. the aem cold air will add top end but no bottom end. it all depends oin what you want.

Just installed a AEM cai on my 4th gen vtec lude replacing my short ram and I noticed a big difference in top end, but nothing on the bottom end. Vtec roars even louder. All n all a good investment.

Check out Injen. Both Injen and AEM closely watch each other as they try to compete directly. Both are awsome systems.
