Default Hytech header size/fitment/mofication question

I have a stock cat and a tanabe racing medallion right now and i was wondering how well a hytech header would work with that setup. What modifications must be made in order for the header to fit properly and what would be the average cost to get it adjusted? Also, is hytech header and a tanabe exhaust a good combination as far as sound and power? Thanks!

The tanabe exhaust is a little small (60mm) so it'll be choking off power a little. You can't use the stock cat with the HyTech header.

You'll need a 2.5" cat (can get these pre-built from SMSP or IPS Racing) and a muffler shop will need to chop your Tanabe exhaust shorter if you are planning to keep it since the HyTech header is longer than a regular header.

If you have a good muffler shop, personally I would sell the Tanabe and get a custon mandrel-bent 2.5" system made up. I know some shops aren't capable of doing this so check in your area if it's going to be an option for you. It would suck to have to chop up the Tanabe and not really be able to sell it anymore.
