Default VAFC Placement >?

Ok - For my 1 year anniversary my gf got me a VAFC (without me even asking, how nice) question is, where to put it?

On the gauges, i have a cluster bezel w/ air/fuel and oil press. Thats the only thing different in pic.

Hide it or put it somewhere that it wont be in plain site. Glove box or near the rear view mirror is good. Anywhere visible is just for bling and it will get jacked eventually.

if you park in areas where people like to steal use the glove box...but i dont think WI is like that...mount it where you like it best scary thing...i dont know how many times ive forgotten to lock my car and my afc is just sitting there

I would mount it either in front of you on the steering column, or in front of the shifter (the only problem with this is you can't use your cup holder, but if you have a gf, she is your human cup holder)

o yea it may look nice but if you put it there how long do you think it will stay with you before getting stolen? why do you think so many people hide it. such as in civic hatches under the whole radio bar thing and on most integras in the ash try.. here is a pic of my friends :

other :

OR IF ALL ELES FAILS AND YOUR SCARED OF GETTING JACKED>.. GLOVE DEPARTMENT OWNS! it may not be flashy but it is the safest place

your friend has the steering wheel i want... lol...

i have mine in the cup holder, since i keep semi important little notes in the ashtray, i didn't flush it... other than that, i'd put it in the glove... and other than that... do a search... i remember a bigass topic about a month or two ago that had all sorts of places to put it...

i think if a potential car theif sees a VAFC out in the open hes going to be more interested in what else you have and proabably more likely to take your car.
- i say glove box and close it when you leave the car
