Interesting... from my experience, Toan has been a great guy so far. I'd like to see what happens.

Skye, We've discussed this. If you checked your email at all you would notice the money has been returned.

Had a busy weekend a friend blew a headgasket, thats what I was busy doing.

Also, I don't sit around the computer all day just to respond to you.

For the record you did <u>not</u> attempt to email me concerning the situation. All you did was messaged me on aim. ::good job::

As for the situation w/ your friend. Other people access this computer, There is a post-it w/ prices on it and the user on the computer answer w/ the price.

What they do not to is respond to msg where an issue needs to be disscussed, b/c they do not know whats going on.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by SkyeC &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I PayPal'd him $255 for a set of OS JDM ITR pistons on 9/13/03. I waited awhile for a tracking number, I think Tuesday, since I paid him on Saturday and UPS is obviously closed over the weekend. He then said he was at school until 4:30pm everyday and couldn't make it out to a shipping place in time, I figured that sounded reasonable enough and he said he would have it out by Friday.

Friday rolls around and I get home in the evening and he's been on AIM for awhile, no e-mail, no H-T IM. He's been on AIM for awhile and hasn't said anything to me so I ask him what's up with my order. He says he sent me an e-mail, which I checked and it said he just discovered he really had USDM ITR pistons, not JDM, and would be willing to send me either those or some PR3s plus a discount. I only wanted JDM ITRs so I asked for a refund. Nothing has happened since then and he is ignoring my AIM IMs, since I had a friend of mine IM him about a different part he was selling and he promptly replied.

That's pretty lame, for $255.

Figured he had a bunch of "vouchers" in his .sig and he seemed to have a lot of posts and selling history, he would be cool.

Guess not.

He told you the pistons were JDM because that is what he thought he had, but when he checked again, they were USDM. He went to great lengths to try to get you your JDM ones, but did not have them in stock. He then emailed you that he has the USDM pistons, but you did not want them. When you asked to be refunded, he refunded.

PEOPLE: Please understand that this is a very busy guy.

He is not trying to avoid you or ignore you. He trys to respond as soon as he can, but please understand that there are times when situations come up that are far more important. I have said this many times, and i will say it again:

He is not sitting around by the computer all day to talk to you or to return PM's, etc at your convenience . He has a busy schedule and does his best to do what he can to accommodate to his customers.

Another thing is... he wasnt trying to scam you or anything like that... Toan is a good person to deal with, but sorry if you may have felt like that.

toan's a great seller.
i have dealt with A LOT of people on this board regarding business transactions
and by far he is one of thee best.

hey toan (if yer reading this), my friend is giving me the rest of the 500 bucks he owes me for the head..so i will definitely have the money for the clutch/flywheel/jdm shifter install.

for the record, because my car got broken into twice on labor day weekend (broken window, 1500 sound system gone ) and the radiator busted (good bye oem, hello fluidyne )
toan has waited just about a MONTH for 600 plus dollars i owe him for parts and install. he has NEVER called me "bugging" about the money. i call him. he has been very understanding up to this point (more than i can say for others i have dealt with) and i would not hesitate to deal with him again. he still even installed my power steering mod.

oh yah i thought i had bought a itr intake manifold already ported to 70mm that i used as part of my deal with toan, we measured it turned out it was stock 64mm or whatever stock is and toan didn't even trip. we just agreed i would pay for whatever the cost to port it would be.

sounds like a great seller to me.

whether or not you have a life has little to do with me, if it was going to take a few days to get my money back, you should have told me, bottom line. as is, it'll be a few days before paypal's transfer goes through and i'll have the money in my account to look for a new set of pistons.

nevermind the fact that i more or less lost 7 dollars to due the 3% paypal fee because of your mistake.

no hard feelings either way, i work fairly hard for my money and like to know what's going on with it, not to have it sitting in limbo.

thanks for the cash.
