My 91 CRX Si...1 year later progress (56K good luck, 25+ pics!)
Well, I bought my crx from board member "Phatboy Si" in Queens. He only had it for a short amount of time (I think 2-4 weeks? Don't quote me on that!). It was in definite need of TLC! The rear quarters were rusted out, had collapsed suspension springs, running on 3 cylinders...I took this strayed dog under my arms! Below are the results. Enjoy and you better have high speed connection!
Ahh...the 1st day I got it! Dented fender, collapsed suspension, etc...

Doors rusted to crap

Hello! Brand new H&R Springs for $80! Thanks dave!

[b]Good bye D16A6...hello D16Z6 with 8K miles on it. Boost in the future? Hmmm...[b]

Added the H&R Sports and AGX KYB's, 95 GSR rims, and some clear corners

Now for the damage up close

Now to get rid of all possible rust, scratches, dents, etc. Bought 2 doors with no rust and dents from member "Goldfingiz" but they were red. Oh well, had to deal with the color change.

And now for the semi-finished product. I still have to paint the moldings flat black because they are just scuffed now. Enjoy!

Added some JDM tails....mmm

Amazing how the rust is gone!

Well, thats after 1 year exactly. This is by the far the funnest car I've ever owned. I don't think I'll be getting rid of it any time soon (maybe for a lot of $). I know many of you may think that its a waste of money reviving a car that is so old...but I love hondas and this was the car I've wanted since I was 16. I took my time with the prepping and all the parts so everything was done right. Any comments are welcomed, just be nice! Thanks for the web space to Imagestation and Hondatech for letting me post.

I knew someone would ask about them! They are actually the J-spec bronze from Rota in Japan. Don't ask me how, where, or why but thats the color that I get them in.
To everyone else, thank you for all the generous replies. I put a lot of hard work into my projects and try and be happy!

Damn Mike! The car wasn't THAT bad when I sold it to you! hehe Besides, being that you're such a great guy, I let the car go for really cheap. And I made up for it with the H&R springs right?
Anyways, the car looks absolutely gorgeous man! At first I was in shock looking at how you tore apart the interior but the final product speaks for itself! There's nothing better that selling a Honda to a fellow enthusiast that puts as much time and care into it like you did.
