How hard is it to change out a starter??
My starter's bad and my dad's asking me how hard it is to switch it out. I wouldn't mind saving money on labor if I could but being the novice that I am I don't even know where the damn thing is. Anyone have any tutorials on this install?
Thanks in advance.

directly under the intake pipe, the black cylinder thing sitting horizontally on top of the tranny bellhousing.
Shouldn't be too hard, just remove the intake and stuff above it to give you room to reach it.

not hard at all
you just take off the 12mm nut holding the thick wire on, then pull off the thin wire (it just slides on and off), then there are 2 14mm bolts that hold the starter to the transmission...take your intake off to be able to pull it outta the engine bay...and you are done. also, dont forget to disconnect neg. battery terminal.

new question guys..
i'm missing one of the bolts that holds the starter to the tranny housing. it's the extra long one. anyone know of any onlines sites where i can get it? i called the local acura and they don't have it. i can order but i have to prepay and they're an hour from where i live so i'd rather have it shipped to me.
thanks.
