As usual, NOPI was blah. Got to meet tons of new people to put the faces to the screen names.

It was great meeting Ryan (vtecvoodoo), Bobby, Nate, Ryan (RTW DC2), Hiroki, etc.

Then, there were the usual suspects... Will, Pat, Johnny Tran, Mickey, Jamie, Ben, Ken, Len, I.L. crew, Marc, etc., etc., etc.

I didn't take very many car pictures, as some online magazine will have better pics. (and, nothing that was out of ordinary) Here's one car picture from NOPI that I took.

SLOPI was kinda weak this year, but we actually watched a few events this time instead of just hanging out by the cars pounding beirs. The hop-off wasn't as fun as it could have been, but the burnout competition was cool. Sucks that the FWD cars (including our own Ken r0cker) had such troubles. The mental giants running the contest decided that the FWD cars should have their back tires soaked as well

All in all, a good time though. Well, except for getting pulled by a trooper in SC

I actually think the show had better quality cars this year.

I don't think anyone shot a pic of my car. It wasn't falshy enough as far as vendor cars go.

For my first time going to nopi, it will probably be my last. Was lots to look at, the chick in the 5-point harness was hot, but other than that it wasnt worth standing in the sun, and the 960 miles I drove with no sleep. Otherwise it was great

PS: all the ITRs looked great.

I took 40 west to 85 south to Mooresville got there at 1:05 am after leaving Big raleigh at 10:30pm, then stayed up till 3 am and left Mooresville at 3:30am and took 85 south all de way to ATL then 19/41 south (following some rice in traffic) to ATL Motor Speedway. Came back same way. got home at 11:45 pm saturday night, needed sleep. Yeah she most def. needed some work on that rack, lots of lookers in attendance though.

PS: did any of you see the Kicker black supra with the kids running the booth? That thing needed some serious tuning (not that they would tune it) backfiring through the intake a little under the hard revving that the kid was giving it. Sounded good out back though.

As always nice to see the regulars out SC crew of Mickey, TJ, The Guy and Ben Diesel.
Asheville Guys always reppin strong. Good seeing you guys at the Kroger. Alabama folks were there too! Sean the SI was looking very clean. Nice meeting you Rodney, FI is not my bag but I was still impressed none the less.
Import Lounge of GA was also there with a good showing. RICE PATROL RULZ! Nice Job Ben and Jason. Ken...damn I soo wanted to see you tear it up on the burnout and see your ghetto rigged bleach squiter in action! Mickey was pissed you never returned his washer hoses! Oh and Len, that party you threw was the BIZZOMB!

Big thanks to the WTD crew for letting me register with you guys. I was impressed by the amount of beer and a bottle of Grey Goose put down by the WTDs. Nice meeting all the new faces: Sean, Nick and Nina, Jamie, Pat, and Ryan and Bobby.
