Rear brakes on 1990 EX all messed up...
for some reason while taking off, my back brakes [drums] are engaging... its like someone pulled my ebrake or something... it happened to me twice today... any ideas?
you might have some kind of weird air bubbles in your brake lines....it is also possible perhaps that the e-brake wires have become fraid in some way? I dunno, that's kind of a weird situation....another idea may be that something in the master cylinder or proportioning valve may be going haywire.....but if it were the master cylinder anyway, it shouldn't do that. I'm not sure that I can think of a real cause, but it'll be interesting to see what it does turn out to be. Bleed the brakes and see if that helps....and maybe someone else may have some cents to add.
