Default Ported IM or aftermarket

For AM would it be best to port and polish my jdm h22 manifold or just get an aftermarket one, str, jg, etc... or maybe even the Euro accord manifold

i'd hold off on getting one of those sheet metal intake mani's. I'd swap that tranny first and throw in a lsd to feel that power.

ya i agree w/the tranny swap. look for m2b4 jdm lsd, or the euro lsd model.

if any itm, get the euro r or, skunk2 if it ever comes out. the rest are basically for turbo only.

have u ever dynod your car?

and what header do you have?

if your tq curve is dead flat at around 5.5k to redline, then you might not need an IM. but if it starts to weaken then u are missing out on some power because of restricted air flow somewhere.

rlz engineering (max_cfm) is supposed to come out with a h22 intake manifold, send him an IM saying you are interested

should be under 400 bux and flow like a ****

I dynoed my car and it only put out 178 h w/ 158 tq. with an dc 4-2-1 header, Im in the process of either getting an AN-R or customize header, going to change the skunk stage 1 to stage 2 and built the block up.

I'd get a greddy header if you have a 4th gen prelude. Rumor has it the dc header sucks for the prelude.

i believe the DC suck too...i have one and thats all ive been reading how my header sucks...i just found a hookup on Kamikaze 4into1 headers for H22...anyone heard anything about them? Its the only big name 4to1 i've seen for H22. i heard i would have to give up some torque using 4-1 also...

you can mod your dc header if you want to. replace the 2-1 collector with 2.5" piping.
