Should I switch back to Stock 15"s ????
I bought my car used with some nice 17" wheels (with Kumho 711's). Not too heavy, I think they come in at 43 lbs with tires. They do make the car look good though.
Unfortunately, the car did not come with the stock 15" gunmetal wheels. I've been thinking of buying a set of the stock wheels and putting on a set of Falken Azenis. I'm looking for better handling and better acceleration.
My question is: will my car perform better with the stock 15"s with Azenis? (handling AND acceleration??)
I don't track the car at all, but I want the ultimate in performance, and I figure Acura knew what they were doing by using a light 15" wheel set-up. The thing is, my buddy says the R will actually handle worse due to the added side wall of having more tire wall. true?
Opinions? Should I run the 15's instead? Will it a give me what I'm looking for??
Thanks!

what he said.. and don't look into wheels for acceleration advantages.

Good advice. Spending any more than $300 USD on a set of stockers is
(without tires). They are not that light as far as 15x6 wheels are concerned.
