anyone got/had a rattling sunroof when open on there 4th gen ?? if so and you fixed it how did you go about it?

 

look at the retainer around the sunroof panel see if there is loose **** sliding around or if something needs to be tightened

 

that problem is common with 5 gens also. do a search!

 

i have the same problem, it's the most annoying thing i've ever heard other than my clutch line leaking , but if you find the answer, PLEASE post, i've ran a search and haven't found anything

I have this same problem but before I go and start taking out my sunroof. Is there anything you have to worry about as far as leaking?

 

My sunroof rattles a bit, nothing I'm worried about right now just plastic parts getting old probly...

 

can anyone, maybe someone with a helms tell me know to remove the sunroof on a 96 ? thanks

 

ive been needing to know how to remove sunroof also..
