First time with hydrolic
Well this car is my first foray into hydro clutches. My presvious 2 cars were both cable so I never had to deal with flushing/bleeding the clutch. So today I was in dire need of a flush, my MC was filthy and muddy. So I thought I would just let gravity do the job for me and just open the bleed screw and fill the resv. as needed.
I went the second I opened the bleed screw, there were thousands of tiny bubbles that started at the tip of the bleed screw. I thought that this would go away as I contunied to flush...but it did not. I went through just about 3 quarts, when I had enough. I just closed the bleed screw off and topped off the resv.
I was getting clunky and notchy shifts before. I would also have a slight grind from 2-3. (which by the way acura swapped this exact shyncro about 7k ago).
Now everything feels like grade A land-o-lakes butter.
I was just wondering about the bubbles though...I never had to deal with a hydro clucth so im not sure what I was supposed to expect...I thought it would be like the brakes...but I would never get this many bubbles with a brake bleed.
So im not too concerend, because everything feels great!!! but just a little curious. OFF to the autoX tomorrow!!

When you just let it drip out like that, as fluid leaves a small amount of air will be sucked in and hence the bubbles. If it feels alright, its alright, but next time put some vaccum on the bleeder.

It is sorta like a hand pump, people use them for brakes also when you dont have another person to help you. Easiest is to just open bleeder and have someone push pedal to floor then close bleeder, and have them pull pedal back up with hand and re bleed, (total of 3 times is how many I do it.) checking fluid level in between.
