Default my cars leaking alot of gas under passngerside rear..

it leaks alot alot after i drive around in it.. then stops after my car comes to a stop.. can anyone suggest anything.. i cant see and of the fuel lines without taking off the tank but im not sure i wanna get into all that ... anyone happen to know how much gan tanks cost???

Im not sure of the cost but im willing to bet it will be a sound investment...in your future none the less. Sounds like there is a small hole in the front if it leaks when you stop.

check the hoses there are a few hoses that can leak under there

thanks for replies but i figured it out.. my gas tanks leaking ima replace it. for the firs time... .... anyone have any insight to what lines are what and any prcautions i should take????

it'd help if the gas tank is somewhat empty....so if you're going to replace it anyway, and the tank is almost empty, you may descide to drain the tank before pulling it off. Move the gas tank far far away from anything flamable......and away from you and anything you would mind to lose . It's not that volitile of a chemical if treated with respect, but you just need to be really careful...gasoline vapor is what'll explode so be really gentle with that.

I DID IT!!!!!! it was hard fititng my pump n gauge into the new tank but i didt it!!!
