Default looking for some basic teg info

Hey, I'm new to tegs and plan on selling off my 4g Si Hatch... I plan on stepping up to a teg most likely a GSR, maybe even a type R depending on how my new job goes

I was looking for a little info, like what gens are what? I see all this talk about DC5's, etc.. what years do those refer to?

As for motors, are all tegs OBD1? is it hard to swap a GSR/type R into an LS?

any info would be appreciated, thanks in advance

Since your state isn't strict with smog policy's u should go with either one. Hence CA is strict with OBDII to OBDI's which give you failed smog
