OEM is Original equipment from Manufacturer

NA vs FI can be talked all day long

its a matter of what you want. some say boost or Nawwwwss is cheating and they want all motor and only motor!! nothing else!

some dont care as long as they get a number

its like you want HP or fast times?

E.T vs HP #

right on..nothing is cheap..dont even think a greddy turbo or simple h22 swap would do..speed is expensive, more torque is more expensive..you start making power and then you want some more..it just never end ..it's money pit

250hp is hard to reach all motor... probably not even possible for an f22. h22 ive seen some pretty close... for that i say turbo.

i reached 225hp at 6psi. and i got the turbo setup and everything for less than $1500

Not Affordable (if you do things right, or especially if you do things right, but not the first time...)

Bisi Ezerioha uses an NA F22 in his setup, which is the fastest in the world and almost breaking into the 9's. Last time I saw written figures, he made 363 HP and 227 TQ, and said on the forums here that it's easier to produce that kind of power from the F-series than an H22. Not that it's my place to post about his setup (Sorry Bisi), but THAT is very respectable.

250hp from anything other than say a H22 ....all motor, would be rediculous to drive around town as the power band would be way too high. Well, it'd be kind of like an s2000....absolutely no fun to drive unless you rev it up really good.

The h22 you could probably squeaze 250hp from w/o having a boring ride around town, and of course the V6s could probably do it.

The best way to get 250hp from a four cylinder is going to be a "somewhat lightweight" turbo, supercharger ....or of course nitrous.

Building a 150hp 4 cylinder to run 225-250hp is going to require a little more than just money, unless you just want to have someone else do all the building/research for you *shrug*
